Paris YEAH!

Come for a random walk around Paris in the drizzle.
More watercolor illustrations from Printemps artist, Aurore de la Morinerie.
At 'la goute' time/4:30pm Angelina was packed like sardines
I take-away a dome foret rouge of neither black forest chocolate nor framboise but Kirsh-infused chantilly inside.
I did not eat any compote de pomme yesterday :(
The Polonaise I shared (I only ate half and just the meringue topping)
You know it's Spring in Paris when you see asperges blanc. The season is short!
Beautiful hot pink clematis inside Prince of Paris fleurists, Eric Chauvin at 22, rue Jean Nicot 75007
I spotted Peggy Porschen's Boutique Baking inside librairie Galignani!!!
Goofy froggie purses in a papeterie shop window.
Hugo and Victor chocolate domes filled with Spring seasonal flavors.
 Grey, gris Paris.
What to wear if you're going in Colette on 213, rue Saint-Honore.
That's Paris YEAH!
A Sonia T-shirt for kids at Baby Tuileries.

Paris Ladybugs

Is it Spring/Printemps that's brings out the ladybugs/coccinelles in Paris?
Yesterday I saw 3! At the bd Raspail bio marche.
 On wine bottles no less.
Guarding chocolates at patisserie Pause Detente 98 ave. Ladru-Rolin.
Ladybugs were out en masse on Saturday. Especially at il etait un fois toy shop - this hugable doudou.
 A wind-up coccinelle...
 On a backpack...
An adorable Nathalie Lete designed bebe looks like a ladybug-to-be.
Mary janes a ladybug would love to wear at il etait un fois..
As well as a polka-dot picnic basket..
Over at La Vaissellerie must-have mugs for any ladybug of note.
Plus little teabag dishes - these ladybugs have names!
I didn't know there was a whole series of Ladybug girl books! A whole flock of them by Jacky David and David Soman.
Ladybugs bring happiness/le bonheur, so you shouldn't leave home without at least one. I left these at chez moi.
But I'm wearing Sonia Rykiel stick pins everyday on my raincoat.
You never know...

Paris Job Hunt!

Do you dream of working in Paris?
Would you be willing to do anything including working at Fauchon?
Dishing out macarons? I can think of worse ways to earn a euro...
How about Angelinas? Hmmm...this looks a bit grueling...
Do you think it's true what they say about working in a candy/pastry shop..?
At Ble Sucre could you ever lose your taste for pastries?
Or macarons?
Could I ever lose my taste for Amorino's pistache + framboise + cafe combo?

Do I need an Italian accent to work at Amorino? I'll fake it.

Serving penny candy at Metro Odeon? I'd do that.

Take the Metro to work? I wouldn't mind...

I loved shooting fashion shows in Paris.

I'm not willing to make bread in the window...

And MacDos..serving up macarons? Hmmm...

Dog walker? Oui, absolutement!

What would YOU like to do in Paris?

BONJOUR JOB HUNTING!

Paris Fluff

While out window shooting I kept seeing bits of fluff hither and thither...
It's true many Frenchmen still apply a fluffy badger brush to their chins. It's also true exactly a year ago I came to a similar conclusion of the prevalent appearence of Paris fluff.

French women have no 5 o'clock shadows to hide but nevermind. Fluff is decorating their chinlines this season.

Fluff + sequins is an unbeatable combo this season evidently...

Sonia's fluffy sleeves will hide a multitude of sins I guess...

Most Paris fluff is fake but this major furry fling looks real to me...

Cuff your boots with fluff...

Or better yet fluff line them for a warming effect...

Christian Louboutin heels with fox bits inside instead of your feet?

Not real fluffy bears cosy up on Bvd St. Germain...

Very real fluff getting buffeted on a coin de la rue...

Fluffy Saint Honores have always been 'in' in Paris.

Remembrances of fluff past - I once had a cat named 'Fluffy' till he peed in a plant on my mother's dinner table. Then he mysteriously 'ran away' I was told.

BONJOUR FLUFF!
