Mademoiselle in Paris

I take my polaroid camera everywhere I go and on that day I was lucky to meet Polina Sova (Elite) in the supermarket at the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
She was so nice with me and we did the polaroid right there between the yogurt and the ice-cream section. But Polina was not buying ice-cream, it was me! My basket was full of junk food and she was shopping bio and healthy. I was a little ashamed, a 10 year old boy alone in supermarket buys less sweets then I do. After she left I decided to buy something healthy too. I returned the brownies to the shelf and took some frozen vegetables and müsli. (I could not get rid of the Haribos, chocolates, Nutella, ice cream, peanuts...)

Julie Depardieu

Julie Depardieu is a french actress and daughter of Gérard Depardieu. I met her some time ago in a party at the Palais De Tokyo, Julie is so funny and has an unique style!

Mademoiselle in Paris

I did this polaroid a while ago when I was photographing people in the streets of Paris for SOMA Magazine.

You can see the digital picture I did of Anaïs on page 34-35 of the digital version of Soma.

You also have to check Josef and Nina, I photographed them for the magazine too.

Mademoiselle in Paris

I love the variety of styles that you can see at the district of Le Marais in Paris.
The 4th arrondissement is also one of my favorite places in Paris to go shopping and to have a drink. (It is also one of the rare areas of Paris open on Sunday!)

Backstage John Galliano

I did this polaroid at the backstage of the show from John Galliano S/S 2010.
Did you have a chance to touch the bubbles?! The show was so pretty!

Check this lovely blog: Department of the Interior. Jennifer wrote a very cute post about "The Singular"!

Mademoiselle in Paris

I saw a few days ago Helena (IMG) walking at the rue Saint-Honoré and I did this polaroid of her.
She was in hurry and I did not have time to ask the brands of her outfit. I really like how the shoes and the pants make her legs look so long!

I can't wait for the fashion weeks to be back again!

I would like to invite everybody to visit the blog "Shimu's Holiday" and "Hype Ain't Sh*t", both of them did a very nice post about "the singular"

Mademoiselle in Paris

The sun was shining again in Paris and I went for a long walk! I did this polaroid today at the Place Vendôme. The big Bottega Veneta bag and the long trench coat caught my eye.

A few minutes later I met Yacine Diallo (a friend and a great make-up artist) working on an editorial for Conde Nast in the front of the Hotel Ritz.
One of the models had a pink dress with lots of volume and I wanted to do a polaroid of her but I was afraid of asking the photographer! He looked so serious, concentrated and frightening!

Frédérique Bel

I was yesterday at a party at the Palais de Tokyo and did this polaroid of the french actress Frédérique Bel.

The weather is a little better in Paris! Time to go for a walk and enjoy the city!

Backstage Bernhard Willhelm

This polaroid of the backstage from Bernhard Willhelm S/S 2010 reminds me of the crazy dream I had tonight.
I can't really remember from who the fashion show I dreamed about was and I don't know why I was sitting at the first row. All other seats have been empty, except two, a couple of seats away from me. Anna Wintour was there with her husband waiting for the show to start. It was a very weird menswear collection! A model drove a miniature mustang at the runway and came in our direction. He hit the car against the seats that separated me from Anna Wintour and then he streched his arm with an inflatable baseball bat out of the car window and hit Anna three times in the head! Her hairstyle was all messy! I was speechless and she looked shocked at me.
Anna Wintour complained with the designer (it was a woman!) after the show and I was there just listening...

I'm so tired of my fashion week nightmares! In my dreams I always lose my photography gear, can't go inside the shows or arrive late! Do you have dreams like that too?

Eugenia Sizanyuk

Today I photographed Eugenia Sizanyuk (Karin). We started the shooting at the studio and after that we went to a small bar at Rue d'Enghien. When the sun came out we took the subway until the Place de l'Étoile and we walked up the 284 steps to reach the top of the Arc de Triomphe!
I live in Paris since 2006 and today was the first time I went to the top of the Arc!!!
The view is amazing!!!

Monsieur in Paris

This is Josef and I photographed him some months ago here in Paris for Soma Magazine.
First I did a digital picture of him for the magazine and after the interview I decided to do a polaroid for my blog too!
He is a huge fan of Karl Lagerfeld and also of the blogger Brian Boy.

You can check the other picture I did of him on page 34-35 of the digital version of Soma.

In october I posted a polaroid with Nina, I photographed her for the magazine too. Click here if you didn't see her before!

Backstage Karl Lagerfeld

Yay!!! My blog is 4 months old today!
For this special occasion I will post one special polaroid!

Eniko Mihalik (Elite) at the backstage of Karl Lagerfeld S/S 2010 collection! Eniko is one of my all time favorite models and Karl Lagerfeld is, Karl Lagerfeld!
Eniko was so happy when she saw the polaroid and asked me to do one for her too but unfortunately this was the last frame I had. She gave me her camera and asked me to photograph her holding the polaroid! :)

My TOP 4 polaroids! If you did not see them before, check now!

1st: My girlfriend! (Isn't she the cutest?!)
2nd: Rihanna at Gareth Pugh
3rd: Iekeliene Stange at Emanuel Ungaro
4th: Girls in St. Raphaël

I would also like to say thanks to everybody who is visiting my blog, writing sweet comments and helping me with this project! :)

Shoes in Paris

I saw these heels outside the Louis Vuitton show. What do you think?
Should I do polaroids of shoes more often?

It's a rainy day in Paris and I'm so bored!

Backstage Wunderkind

I saw this adorable model at the backstage from Wunderkind S/S 2010.

How was your weekend?
